We would suggest looking into Licorice root. It creates a thin film of protective mucus called mucilage that coats the lining of the esophagus and prevents damage from stomach acids. Licorice root tea is a great way to consume it! Slippery elm is a very similar herb that coats the intestinal lining, so if you can find a tea blend with both that would be great.
