How I Cleared My Acne (Cystic, Hormonal & Digestive Causes)

I suffered with prominent acne all throughout high school and into college… so if you’re going through it right now, please know I feel your pain! I went to countless dermatologists, took rounds of antibiotics, and exhausted the conventional route until I realized that something deeper was going on (which was expressing itself through this acne). In my YouTube video I talk about how I finally achieved clear skin, the root causes of acne (what your body is trying to tell you!), the supplements I used, and the diet/skin care changes I made. I had cystic acne along with whiteheads AND blackheads (the whole shebang), and my root causes were both digestive and hormonal (forehead and cheeks/jaw). It took me years to find the answers to what was going on with my skin — I probably tried 1000s of supplements and skin products in the process – but I promised myself that as soon as I figured out the recipe that worked, I would share it with other acne sufferers!
UPDATE: My skin is certainly not perfect, but what amazes me is that it continues to get better and better as each month passes. I still get a pimple or two the 3-4 days before my period, and also have some scars from the damage. But I am no longer going through the painful cysts and bumps I used to get every single day, and 90% of the month my skin is pimple-free. That’s something I never thought I would achieve — I honestly didn’t think I would get to see even one full day with completely clear skin.
